Ace Attorney - 10

You will need 720p version of HorribleSubs release to use this patch.
Put everything into a folder and run the *.bat file.

This release is based on localized names, cuz' I like em' vidiya gaems style.

Enjoy! and as always if you found any issue with the release let me know.

  1. Hey twonline, thanks for the release! I'm trying to switch my 720p copy over to yours via patch, but this is the first time I'm doing the patch process. I do see that each of your torrent releases have the .bat and the xdelta exe included, but I'm looking at your gdrive copies, with the files themselves, and I'm a little unsure on how to go about patching this myself manually.

Is there a simple guide you can redirect me too, or would it be troublesome to explain the process yourself (Possibly on your blog) so that new folks like myself can get ourselves patched and use your release?

Thank you so much for your work!

    1. It's actually pretty simple.

      Just download the torrent,
      Extract contents to folder,
Put the relevant Horriblesubs' 720p release in to the same folder.
And simply run the .bat file, a patched file will be created.

You don't need any Google Drive files if you are patching Horriblesubs' releases.

    2. So here's the problem: No one is seeding E01 and E02 releases. It's really convenient that the subs are available on Google Drive, and easy to link to others to. If there aren't many seeders now- I imagine in a years time or so there likely won't be many if any at all.

So I guess that's why I was interested and just for personal knowledge gain on how to replace the subs myself. I do agree that patching with the .bat is the simplest option, but then I also noticed there was a ep5v2 you also released to fix an issue, and never released a torrent of that (It was only fixed via files manually on your gdrive I believe.

Because it is just a diff patch, do you think it would be unreasonable to host the diff on your google drive? People used to host ppf patches for games and such online without issue because there was no code in it, just the changes the delta changes.

    3. Didn't see that they are not seeded...

Anyway added all patches to google drive...

If you want to do things manually you can download font attachments and subtitle files (.ass) from google drive and mux them yourself.
You will need MKVToolNix. If you need any help with it let me know.

    4. Much appreciated and can't wait for the next episode! Keep up the great work twonline :)

FYI: I had to follow steps outlined in this article to get it to work as well, as Windows 10 errored saying "The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I used a number of C++ Redistributables but didn't get it to work, until I tried this method by ionutzionut: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-performance/msvcp100dll-missing/9a687c31-0619-4ee9-b511-020985e29b5f?page=4
